This award will release the funding from MBSE (See below) and

and the provision of Interpreation Panels, Road Signage and the
publication of the Book.

MORAY COUNCIL FUNDING
In March of this year the Moray Council kindly donated a further
£900 towards the Project One costs. This is in addition
to the £19704.10 that they granted to the Trust last year
and a sum inexcess of £6000 that was granted by the Council
to cover the cost of putting the Project Plan together.

MBSE GRANT APPROVED
After many months of negotiations and disappointments the Trust
are now happy to announce that the Moray, Badenoch and Strathspey
Enterprise, part of the Highlands and Islands Enterprise Company
have awarded the Kinloss Abbey Trust a grant of £20,000.
This money is to be used to pay for the Interpretation elements
of the Project such as the interpretation panels, road signage,
leaflets and the book.
This money has come as a great boost because it now allows the
Trust to make the formal application to the Heritage Lottery Fund
for the remaining £49,000 required to start work on the
Project.
All of the Trustees are delighted with this grant and will continue
to work hard to secure the funding required for all of the Project
proposed at Kinloss Abbey.
